I buy items from Amazon all the time but this is the first time that I have taken the time to write a review. I LOVE these books! I got the i like book for my three year old a couple of months ago. I try to jot something down in it every day or as often as I can. Some of the ones that I have put for him are, i like....... the way you say "Thank you very much" without being told to, i like....the way you throw a ball, i like....that you are so loving, i like...the way you don't give up when something is hard to do. He asks me to read him "My Book" all the time and has the greatest look on his face when I do. What an incredible, easy concept that they came up with. There are even a couple of places to put his picture in the book and I think that it will be great when we are reading it in the future years to see a picture of how he was in that particular one. I also have the one for couples. That one is great because with a toddler in the house it is very easy to forget to tell your partner all of your "likes" too. Great thing to read when I may be a little frustrated with my hubby and need a reminder of why I love him so much! Hey - I can see the one for my son coming in VERY handy when he becomes a teenager!Product details

Cute little book! I gave as an anniversary gift to my fiance', he really enjoyed reading what I liked about him on a daily basis.
I really thought this would be a good gift idea, but it's just plain silly. You could buy a 99 cent composition book and do the same thing...or use sticky notes and write your daily likes. We tried it and eventually it becomes a chore.
I understand this is a book meant to write things you like about another person. But I thought there would be more to it than that!! I expected some short stories, some inspiration -- something! So if you're looking for a book that simply has page after page of lines to write what you like about someone, this is it. Otherwise, save your $.
I love these books. I bought one for my son for his first birthday and it was awesome. It is such a nice way to keep track of all of the little day to day things that I know that I will forget that I don't want to forget. It will also be very neat for him to read when he get a little older. After I got the "I Like Book" for him I got the "I Like Book for Couples" for my husband for our Anniversary. It is a great way for us to tell each other what we like about each other. Something that we should do everyday but sometimes gets overlooked because of everyday life and problems. It makes both of us feel great about each other and ourselves.
This book is basically a calendar in which each person writes something they like about each other in an effort to build intimacy and appreciation. It's a novel idea if you remember to do it each day.
